This privacy policy applies to the use of our website and the services available on it. The effective date of these terms is 14/11/2022. Previous versions of this policy become invalid once a new version is published. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect it against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you provide to us.

Data Processing

Below, you will find information on how we process your data, where we store it, the security techniques we use, and who has access to the data.

E-commerce Software

Shopify
Our webshop is developed using Shopify's software. The personal data you provide to us is shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with technical support but will never use it for other purposes. Under the agreement we have with them, Shopify is required to take appropriate security measures, including SSL encryption and a strict password policy. Shopify is a certified processor of credit card data. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information about your use of the software, but no personal data is collected or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its group of companies to further improve its services. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies, and your data may be processed in the United States.

Email and Mailing Lists

Klaviyo
EXAMPLE: Our website uses Klaviyo, a third party that handles our website’s email traffic and newsletter delivery. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent via Klaviyo's servers. Klaviyo will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of each email sent automatically from our website, you will see an "unsubscribe link." Click on this to stop receiving further emails from our website. However, this may limit the website's functionality. Your personal data is securely stored by Klaviyo. Klaviyo uses cookies and other internet technologies to track whether emails are opened and read. Klaviyo reserves the right to use your data to improve its services and share it with third parties for this purpose.

Outlook
We use Outlook for our regular business email communications. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Outlook does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat our email traffic confidentially.

Payment Processing

If you request a deferred payment (credit facility), iDeal shares personal data and information related to your financial situation with credit rating agencies. All previously mentioned safeguards concerning the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of iDeal's service for which they engage third parties. iDeal does not store your data longer than is legally permitted.

Trustpilot shares this information with us, allowing us to link the review to your order. Trustpilot also publishes your name on its website. In some cases, Trustpilot may contact you for further clarification on your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with Trustpilot, who uses this information solely to invite you to leave a review. Trustpilot has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Trustpilot reserves the right to involve third parties in providing its services. We have given Trustpilot permission to do so. All previously mentioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data apply to the parts of the service for which Trustpilot engages third parties.
